Highlights from Showcase 2007
The UW-Madison Showcase 2007 was held Tuesday, March 27 at the UW-Madison Memorial Union. Unlocking creativity and sharing innovative ideas on ways to make the campus work more effectively were at the center of Showcase 2007. This eighth annual idea-sharing event highlighted how units from across campus have successfully collaborated to improve work processes, learning environments, and campus climate. Over 350 people attended the event.
There were 58 Poster Exhibitors and Technology Demonstrations, including 27 from 10 schools/colleges and 3 centers. There were 31 from 16 administrative units.
The Showcase 2007 Program included 11 concurrent sessions and keynote presentations by
Barbara McFadden Allen (Director Committee on Institutional Cooperation),
David Pilsbury (Chief Executive Worldwide Universities Network), and
David Zach (Futurist).
Below is a sample of some Showcase 2007 posters created using the Tri-Fold Poster Exhibit template. (See the Exhibitor Resources Page for more information.) The PowerPoint slide was then printed at the College Library New Media Center and pasted onto a tri-fold foam core poster board.
Now is the time to begin thinking about ideas and best practices that you would like to share at Showcase 2008, which is scheduled for April 1, 2008 at the UW-Madison Memorial Union.
